Emily

Well 8 years ago today we were blessed with our beautiful daughter Emily Grace. She arrived uneventful unless you count that the meds made me sleep through delivery. It was totally not what i had expected but hey I got through it snoring. OK well anyway she arrived to only make our lives more fun and Callah a big sister. She is getting baptized tomorrow and is so excited. So here are a few things about Emily: she loves to draw and is prewtty good at it. She loves school which is a blessing. She helps other kids in class for the teacher to explain things. She loves to sing and dance. She does not like to clean but likes to help cook. She loves to read and loves animals. She is a mini me and we love her greatly. Happy Birthday Emily!

The Year 2000

Well I am a few days late and dollars short. However I want to reflect on the year 2000. In the year 2000 we were blessed to start our family with the arrival of a beautiful little girl. Miss Callah Abigail came into our hearts on 5/5 at 10:10am. She has been the center of attention since then one way or the other. She is now 9 years old and the time has flown by. Some interesting facts about Callah are: She loves to be the center of attention. She loves to look at herself in the mirror when she talks. She loves to be tickled. She is a very fast runner and has been since she started walking. She has to be in charge. She loves root beer. She likes a little boy from school a lot and I am hoping it past quickly. She is good at school. She tries very hard at everything she does. She can ride a bike. She likes to help out when it puts her in charge. She loves to dance and sing. So here is the video that always makes me smile. I love you Callah and Happy 9th Birthday to our Dancing Queen!

The Fall

Well I thought that I would make another entry. I don't seem to be as good as I hoped at making these but anyway. My title does not refer to the Fall of Adam. It is about the Fall of Nathan. We were working at Charlie's aunt store for her one night a couple of weeks ago and we were getting ready to close. Well I have to admit the kids had done great up until about 30 minutes before leaving and then they were hungry, bored and going crazy. So we were closing and I told them to start putting things up. Well Nathan was playing with a flashlight. He was going to put it up and so he climbs up on the computer while I was in another area closing it down. Well I come around the corner to see him climbing down when bam. There he tumbles to the ground from about knee high and smack down on a piece of wood. He instantly gets quiet and blood is pouring. Yep I mean pouring out into my hands. So after freaking out and screaming for everyone to run and get in the car I get a towel to put on his head and apply pressure. Well in my mind I see me, Emergency room with 6 kids, and a long wait. I call Charlie to tell him to leave work now and meet me at the ER that Nathan has fell and busted his head. Well off we go with Emily and Ian in tears for fear Nathan is going to die(partial my fought since I told them not to let him go to sleep). So we get to the ER and register and they take us straight back. We have applied enough pressure(Ian and myself) that the gash is not pouring any longer. We go back and Charlie arrives to take the other kids. Then the doctor comes in and thankfully glues his head back together. We were in and out of the ER in 30 minutes. I know that in itself is a miracle. Well we ask Nathan what he learnt from this experience thinking maybe not to climb. Nope his reply "Take your socks off". The mind of a 2 year old. That is my Nathan.

April Fools

Well as we all know today is April Fools Day...tyring to figure out how to get the kids was pretty easy. I woke Ian up and told him it snowed so we would not go to school. He runs to look because here in Georgia we really don't get snow so he was excited. Once I said April Fool's he was like man. So then he went and did the same to his sisters. So that is the only joke we got on each other. However I was going to say...WE ARE EXPECTING AGAIN... but then I thought oh man I may jinx myself. So to all of you out there Happy April Fools Day.
