Up to Date

Well I figured it was time to update the blog. We have been busy with life I suppose. The kids are all growing so fast. It is hard to believe that we have a teenager. Callah, is now 13. Wow the time has flown. I remember the day she was born. I remember her first night home when she decided to sleep all night long and Charlie and I kept poking her to make sure she was alive. She has grown up to a beautiful young women. She is into soccer and made the school soccer team this year. She made 5 goals and they had 6 games. Then she still plays rec soccer with PYSL. She absolutely loves it. Emily is now 12. She began the Young Women's program this last week. She likes soccer as well. She loves to play the guitar still and is wanting to try violin. We are debating it still. She loves to read and she is all into the Hunger Games. Amanda is 10 and still a small little girl. She did Upward cheer leading this winter and has decided that she is wanting to try soccer again in the fall. She is still spunky but has got better at controlling her feelings. Ian is 9. He is really into soccer as well. He pretty much plays the whole field. He likes to goalie as well. He has some natural talent at it. He is so full of energy. He is playing the guitar now as well. He is like Emily in that as he has some talent and really doesn't put forth his all. Nathan is 6 almost 7. He is still my sweet caring little boy. He played basketball in the winter and soccer also. He was so funny this season in soccer. He wanted to play goalie so bad (I think because Ian did). He finally got his chance and did pretty good. He said it was the best day of his life. Mason is now 5. He graduated pre-k a few days ago. He did a great job. He likes to play soccer also. He has a great foot. He loves to defend so most of the time he was taking the ball away but he did get some goals. He is funny to watch because he gets such a serious face. Sam is 2. He is such a joy. It is hard to imagine not having him. He reminds me everyday that Heavenly Father knows best. He is into Diego, Jake and the Never land Pirates, Aquabats and Handy Manny. He likes to kick balls so he is hard to keep off the field at soccer. So as you can tell the common theme here is SOCCER. It is kind of funny since Charlie nor I have played it other than backyard. We did not have it growing up but it has come a great love for our family. Charlie coaches most of their teams in some capacity or other than Mason. I took on that one since I really can't mess up too bad right? BYE
