As the Year Ends
Well we survived the Christmas rush. We had a lot of places to be. Our adventure started with traveling to Charlie's moms which was about a 4 hour drive. Then we spent the night there and the next day went on our all day adventure. We got to see Kenneth (Tina's dad), Charlie's grandparents (The Sechrist), Daddy Jimmy, Tina's Grandma Betty and all the aunts, uncles and cousins there. Then we headed to Tina's moms where the night settled to wait for Santa. So once asleep Santa jumped into action. Then next morning excitement abounded and everyone was happy. Then we headed to see Gary (Tina's dad) and off to Virginia. We then got to visit with Charlie's family. Amanda got to visit with Ashley her birth mother and her paternal grandparents. That was nice she enjoyed all those visits. Then we left on Friday morning to return to GA. A 5 hours trip that went great until Mason decided that he was going to scream for about 50 minutes. Then Nathan decided he is afraid of the dark and I had to sit sideways to hold his hand so that Mason will go to sleep. Yeah!! So we made it home and miss the family. We left the girls in Virginia and then they are going to NC and home on Tuesday. So this was our adventure. We hope that everyone had a great holiday and enjoy the New Year.

The Nutcracker and Christmas
Well the kids school play this year was the Nutcracker. So we went and it was good. It was hard to keep a 2 year old and a 6 month old quiet and happy but it was worth it. Callah and Amanda were singers and Emily had the part of a doll. Thankful Carol and Pam were there to help with pictures and Charlie to help with the kids. It seems that each year more and more parents come which is great. This year they put the program on 3 times and all 3 were packed. They had props as you can see and they even changed the backgrounds. So it was a really elaborate program this year. The kids

Count Down to Christmas
Well I guess most families are like ours and the kids are counting down to Christmas. So I figured while I had the chance i would try to update this blog a little more. We are all excited that Christmas is coming so we can go see our family. The kids get out of school Friday(yeah). This year the school is going the play "The Nutcracker". Emily has a part this year which she is happy about. I will try to take a picture and put on here. She is going to be a dancing doll. Then all the girls will sing with everyone else all the songs. They are all so excited. Callah had hoped for a part but she did not get one. She is sad about that but hey maybe next year.
So my one funny story of many i am sure. Last Sunday we were running late to church(mostly because I could not get up). Well we get there and sacrament has already been passed so we missed out on that. Well our family is big and we have chairs not benched since we are a small branch. Anyway since we have to have 6 chairs we had to go to the front row. Well while we were waiting to sit down Nathan found a toy bus. Callah took it away per my request since it makes a loud clicking noise when you push it. Well we head down the isle to sit and once there I notice I have one child MIA. So I realize it is Nathan. So I turn to look and all of a sudden I hear a loud click click click noise. And to my surprise(embarrassment) Nathan is slowly pushing the bus down the middle of the isle. This is fast and testimony Sunday so everything was quiet. Well I have to blame his father who being the branch president was sitting right in front of us laughing. I blame him because he said in his testimony that he had asked Heavenly Father to help him laugh more. So there you go at my expense he got a laugh. Is is a good thing I love him.
