Winter Happenings

Well this winter has been really mild. We have had really nice weather and not too many cold days. We purchased a wood stove before winter and we have loved it. Charlie likes to get it rocking up to 75 in the house mind you that we only set the heat on 66 so it is hot to us. They are calling for snow tomorrow we will see I suppose.
Well Ian and Nathan are playing basketball with Upwards. Nathan has yet to really grasp it all but he tries. Ian is in his 2nd year playing and I am surprised that he has improved so much. He has scored in most of his games and today he scored the most on his team. The other kids are not playing any sports at this time. Callah is still playing the flute for band and Emily is still doing the guitar.
Samuel is now crawling and it is fun. You forget how much you have to keep up. He found the fry daddy the other day and lets say he moisturized his skin well. Thankfully it was clean oil in it so he did not stink. It took lots of paper towels and salt to contain it. He thought it was fun.He is also trying to walk holding on to things. He has been a little brave and stands alone at times. He has cut his top teeth and bottom as well. He went for his 9 month check up and he lost a little weight but is still over 20 pounds. He is in the 70th percentile in both weight and weight. Mason goes for his preschool assessment in a few days. He is kind of excited. It is hard to believe that in less than a month Ian will be 8. I will try to update it soon.

Wow time Flies

Well time has gone so fast the last few months. It is hard to believe that Samuel is almost 7 months old. Then that I have a middle schooler. In August the kids all started school. Callah is now in middle school, Emily is in 5th, Amanda is in 3rd, Ian is in 2nd and Nathan is in kindergarten. So in all I have kids in 3 school. However by the time Samuel goes I will have one in 4. The kids are all doing well in school. Callah got braces and Amanda had to get 2 braces on her from teeth. We have had some ups and downs but we are hanging in there.
We are both currently seeking employment. It is a long story but Charlie resigned his job for one closer to home. When it came time to start they no longer needed him. So we have been without a job for a couple of months. The economy stinks and with so many trying to get jobs I think we get overlooked because they get tired of looking. So we are hoping something pans out soon.
We are all getting ready for the holidays. They are coming fast. If I don't blog before then have a safe and Merry Christmas.

Emily and Mason Party hard!

Well I realized I totally forgot to do a blog for the party of Emily and Mason. I think life has been really busy lately. Emily turned 10 this year and Mason turned 3. It is hard to believe that either is that old already. Emily wanted a guitar cake and my sister in law made her an awesome cake Thanks Tisha. Mason wanted sponge bob. We had a great time with our family and friends.
